Sean is responsible for leading AVIXA’s initiative to become an authoritative provider of insights and research for the Pro-AV industry. In this role, he will manage, direct, and serve as a public face for the associations research efforts while exploring new areas of study.
 
Throughout his over 20 years in the technology research sector Sean has made a career of maximizing research in a variety of roles, including leading a primary research business, centralizing a business intelligence practice, building an industry analysis department, performing advanced statistical analysis, and speaking/ writing about research findings.
 
Sean previously served as VP of Research for BDS Marketing, Inc., President of his own research consultancy, and Director of Industry Analysis at the Consumer Technology Association (CTA). He was also the recipient of the Gold Stevie Award for Maverick of the Year and for Marketing Service Department of the Year in 2014, thanks to his work to improve client reporting at BDS through the integration of Tableau dashboarding.
