Bio
Roshan is a media producer living in Washington, D.C. He earned his MFA in Science and Natural History Filmmaking from Montana State University and has produced short films for a variety of topics, ranging from lions in western India to the impacts of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill on deep sea artifacts and ecosystems.
His films, Pride and Red Wolf Revival, have won awards at prestigious film festivals, including “Best Short” and “Best Conservation Film” at the International Wildlife Film Festival and “Best Conservation Success Film” at the NY Wild Film Festival. In addition to independent films, he has produced films for the Smithsonian, National Parks Service and World Wildlife Fund.
Today, he is the media producer at Smithsonian’s National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute, where he creates films ranging in topic from coral conservation to wildlife trafficking.
