Podcasting: From Choosing Gear to Empowering Guests
Michael Goodman, audio product design engineer at CEntrance, has developed every imaginable piece of audio equipment—amps, signal processors, audio interfaces, consoles, speakers, mics, IOT devices with speech recognition, and more. He’s also created podcasting equipment for CEntrance—a process informed by his personal experience as a podcast host and guest. Goodman will explore the design process, as well as making the right equipment choices for success, setting up the podcast, getting the artist comfortable and empowered to perform at their best, and more.

Podcast Studio Design: Necessities, Variations and Options
When podcasting giants Stitcher and Spotify's Gimlet Media each needed to design and build new world-class production facilities in New York City this year, they both turned to Walters-Storyk Design Group to make it happen. Founded in 1969 to create Jimi Hendrix's legendary Electric Lady Studios, WSDG has created more than 3,000 recording, TV & broadcast studios, performance venues, educational facilities and other commercial, administrative and residential spaces around the world over the last 50 years. Founding Partner John Storyk will describe how WSDG's expertise developed Gimlet and Stitcher’s studios from the ground up, answering the unique needs of professional podcasting.
