Leah Clapman is the managing editor for education at the PBS NewsHour. She created Student Reporting Labs, a video journalism training initiative that connects schools and clubs with public broadcasting mentors and an innovative journalism curriculum to develop digital media, critical thinking, and communication skills while producing original news reports. Leah graduated from Princeton University and lives in Washington with her husband, a high school history teacher, two children, two cats, two fish and a puppy.
